Growing up, Traditional East Asian medicine was an integral part of my life. My mother and grandmother were natural born healers, having inherited the wisdom and medicine from their ancestors. It is through embracing and expanding upon this knowledge that I am able to connect with and honor my family and culture, while playing a small role in keeping such traditions alive.

My personal journey began with my study and practices from the Yogic and Ayurvedic traditions. I was called to support postpartum mothers as an Ayurvedic Doula since 2012, as well as co-founding Sacred Roots Holistic Healing a Wellness Center in Long Beach, Ca in 2013. The center offers a range of healing and wellness modalities, workshops, and training for health practitioners and students alike.

In 2017, I decided to further deepen my studies and connection to my cultural and ancestral roots in East Asian Medicine by embarking on the journey of obtaining a Masters Degree in Acupuncture. Reclaiming the medicine I grew up with was one of the most empowering aspects of my own personal healing journey. Imparting the wisdom of this medicine and healing tradition with my community is a privilege and an honor.

Along my journey, I’ve studied various modalities such as meditation, body work, mindfulness, non violent communication, restorative yoga, and somatic oriented therapies. Most importantly through these processes, I’ve learned that our bodies hold innate wisdom and we all have an incredible and natural ability to self heal.

I facilitate workshops in my community with the aim of empowering others in taking control of their health and well being. I specialize in women’s health, fertility, postpartum care, as well as orthopedic acupuncture.

My work is centered around preventative healing, using a trauma informed lens, and an approach to wellness understanding that our wellbeing is interconnected to the health of the planet and society as a whole.
