Acupuncture

TCM views the human body as an intricate channel system that connects the microsystems in the body together to form the whole. By pressing or stimulating specific acupuncture points, we awaken the healing potential within this self healing matrix we call the human body.

Acupuncture works in a myriad of ways and is proven to:

Reduce pain + inflammation

Acupuncture deactivates areas of the brain that modulate pain which is one reason why acupuncture works wonders for pain management.

Reduce stress

Acupuncture regulates the stress response + recalibrates the nervous system.

Induce relaxation

Taps into the relaxation response in the body also known as the parasympathetic nervous system.

Improves circulation

More blood + lymph flow keeps every system in the body working at optimal

Restores balance

Brings the body back into homeostasis

Promotes healing

Needling creates micro tears in the tissue that stimulates a healing response increasing white blood cells and creating a ripple effect of healing to the affected and nearby areas.

Acupuncture is a 3000+ year old ancient healing system originating from China and East Asia. Today, science has proven the efficacy of acupuncture and Chinese medicinal herbs. There is a reason why it still exists today!

Acupuncture deactivates areas of the brain that modulate pain which is one reason why acupuncture works wonders for pain management. Chronic inflammation is detrimental to our health. Once the body is free from inflammation, the healing potential + cellular intelligence can be restored.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy aids in the removal of toxins from the tissues, improves circulation, and helps clear the lymphatic system of waste (suggested when going through any detoxification) improving immune function. It is also very relaxing and unwinds tense muscles activating and releasing stagnation in the body.

Gua Sha

Gua sha promotes the movement of qi, blood, and bodily fluids in the body. A stone tool is scraped along areas of stagnation or pain which may result in a reddish purple hue surfacing at the skin level, also known as sha. Gua sha causes tiny blood vessels to break down in order to regenerate and increase blood circulation.

Each pattern and person is unique. What may work for one person, may not for another and vice versa. A customized herbal formula is tailored to your needs at the time of your visit.
